As stated in my first post, from time to time I will make a brief comment about the goings on in my life here at FIS. Well, today I thought I'd comment on Toronto. I've never lived in such a big city before, and although I have lived in many communities (e.g. Oshawa, Belleville, Kingston, and, Peterborough to name a few) I must admit I still find T.O. a bit overwhelming. Above all, I cannot get over the fact that this city is in constant motion 24/7! What are people doing at 3.50 am? I guess I'm just a small town boy at heart! Anyway, I hope everyone has a great term and see you in class!

Jason, I like Kingston a lot, and Charlottewton at PEI. However, Toronto is my favarite so far. I grew up in big cities, Beijing, Xi'an and Shanghai... I always recall everything I have there. So when I first came to Canada and stayed in these towns, I was quite lost somehow... until 2003 I came to Toronto, which has everything I want (so far). One suggestion to this is just try to find your comfort zone here. Say, at PEI I always went to Tim Hortons there, which was more crowded. :-)
Just say hi to home for me.
